REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or minimum N2/N3
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic with Trade Certificate through a recognised/accredited institution
- Knowledge of Crushers
- Minimum Code (8) National Driver’s Licence
- Five (5) years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic on machinery
- The successful candidate will be required to go for a medical assessment.
GENERAL DUTIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Maintenance and repairs of trackless mobile machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting – Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Check if pre-shift checklists are done
- Maintenance of the crushers
