As 2023 comes to an end, we reflect on all the recurring and new opportunities that we as a company had the privilege to cultivate in the last 12 months. Established in 2003, our mere second contract since our existence was secured as a 12-month contract. We recently marked a milestone by securing another contract with the same Mine approximately twenty years later.
In addition to this success, Zizwe Batlase, a joint venture between Zizwe Opencast Mining and the Baphalane Community, achieved notable milestones.
In this edition, Mina Motheng, Director at Zizwe Batlase, shares insights into her new role, background, and career path. Colani Biya, Contracts Manager at Seriti, details his nearly 9-year journey with the company, qualifications, and career aspirations.
